from 781 reviewsI've been setting neck relief in my shop for several years the old-fashioned way. This gauge saves time but is also way more accurate than a feeler gauge. Thank you, Elmer Guitars for a great tool!
I have to say using the gauges is like a fire pit in your living room nothing like getting the correct anything with a guitar
This slotting miter box is very well made and produces great results. The set up is easy and straight forward
It rivals the higher priced options offered by other vendors. I would purchase this item again, no question.
Thank you Elmer for giving us a high quality cheaper alternative to Stewmac. This the plate worked great.
This is my first time to work on a guitar beyond string replacement. I am replacing the fretboard on my Yamaha. I got the miter w/saw and a template. This thing worked great.
Love it
Feels solid has a little weight to it and it does the job.
Works great
There was a slight learning curve to it but I learned how to use it. It's great
Was grateful to get this for the price. Quality tools for sure.
Heavy gauge stainless steel, all edges are perfect lengths to work the entire fretboard and at a very reasonable price, no need to spend more. Works perfectly and I highly recommend.
works a treat, initially had an issue with the Brass Block but was replaced no fuss.
All now excellent.
It is a great product at a Great price. I should have gotten it a long time ago. No math just line it up.
Overall rating 4.5/5
I am a guitar hobbyist and I chose this fret bender for my first ever guitar re-fret project. I used it to bend the radius on some Jescar 57100 stainless steel fret wire and it did the job beautifully. I was able to dial in the desired radius (just a bit under 12") for my Les Paul and was even able to straighten and re-radius the fret wire that I had mistakenly under radiused with my first pass.
I only have two critiques of the tool. Firstly, I wish it had a label on the dial indicating which direction to turn for a smaller / wider radius. Secondly, I wish that it included some instructions. Thankfully, I found an excellent video from Australian Luthier Supplies that showed exactly how to use it as they sell the same model (see link below).
