Our Fret Slotting Miter Box is designed for accurate, repeatable fret slot cutting with a fret saw.
The ball-bearing guides keep the saw blade aligned and perpendicular to the fingerboard, helping you cut straighter and more consistent fret slots with less effort. The guide assemblies can be adjusted left and right to accommodate different saw blade thicknesses, while the cutting depth can be adjusted using the top thumbwheels.
The miter box accommodates fingerboards up to 10 mm thick and 74 mm wide. It is made of aluminum and measures 305 mm long. Three mounting holes are provided for securing the miter box to your workbench.
The latest model includes two built-in clamps, so no additional clamps are required to hold the fingerboard in place.
Mounting screws, spanners, and instructions are included.

Works With Our Fret Scale Templates
Our Fret Scale Templates are designed specifically for use with this miter box. The notches along the template engage with the indexing pin on the miter box, allowing you to position each fret accurately and slot an entire fingerboard quickly and consistently.
The miter box can also be used without a template if you prefer to lay out and position your fret slots manually.
