The Diamond V Fret Crowning File is designed to reshape and restore fret crowns after leveling. Its unique V-shaped cutting surfaces work on both sides of the fret simultaneously while helping preserve the leveled fret top and maintain consistent fret height.
The file features two different-sized V-shaped grooves, making it suitable for a wide range of fret sizes. Both angled cutting surfaces inside each V-groove are coated with 300-grit diamond abrasive for efficient and consistent material removal. The V-shaped design helps remove material evenly from both sides of the fret, restoring a narrow crown for accurate string contact.
