I love these templates; now have 25.5/25 and 24.675/24.750. In the "old times" I used a fret calculator, a millimeter ruler and a pencil to mark my cuts. This never resulted in the kind of precision work that I require. Templates, along with the miter box have changed all that. It was never guesswork but nor was it professional. Now I feel confident that I generate a "well-fretted" instrument for myself and my clients. If I could add a wishlist? It would be a 24" scale length template and that the the miter box had a built in scale to more precisely set cut depth. Otherwise...the miter box and templates are a GREAT addition to your luthier bag of tricks.
Just got my fret bender very happy with it
I had a set of stainless steel pre bent frets that would not work on my guitar neck #12s
So I ran them through the bender to straighten them it worked great
I put indicator which way is up and down on it

Didn't really need these gauges, but glad I've purchased them.
Very nicely produced, and now that I have them, I'm sure they will be getting used regularly.
Amazing! Well worth the modest price. Screwed into a 2x4 and held in my vise, works perfectly.
Pro tip: if you regularly use multiple radii, save a small bit of wire at each radius to quickly dial in the jig.
Works as intended with my modified harbor freight arbor press. I’ll be buying more radius adapters in the future.
After reading several reviews I decided to get this miter box. It would have come REALLY fast but it got re- routed back to New Jersey! Human error. Our local carrier told me it probably got sorted wrong. It was an honest error. No big deal. So, it was a well traveled package and still got here okay.
The first thing I will say is the packaging is just like some have said- well done! In spite of all its travel, it came to me intact and in perfect shape. It was fairly easy to put together. Only two screws were a little suspect. One, I had to replace with something here. The other was just okay. Otherwise, no problem.
The Stewmac template fit perfectly. My old LMI fret saw works perfect as well.
I haven’t used it for a finished fingerboard yet but I can say that adjusting the depth of cut and the smoothness of the saw, perpendicular setup takes time. But, I’ve got time. It wasn’t THAT much time either.
The last thing I will say is that Patrick at Elmer Guitar was right there watching the shipment and ready to fix the order with a replacement or refund. Unlike what AI says, the customer support is REALLY good!
I think Elmer Guitar is worth looking into. For me, they are top notch.

I have two of them, they work perfect, I like putting in an additional ring on the inside and outside of the rosette, it amazes me how perfect a job it does.
I've made about 20 guitars and 15 ukes, it's worked perfect every time. I go around twice just to make sure I haven't left a high spot, I like my binding perfect. I have two jigs. one in each shop. I also have two of each,router base,fret saw and nut sander, Elmer makes great tools at a fair price.
This is a great tool, saves me alot of time and aggravation trying to do it by hand. I don't have the patience and the price is a mere drop in the bucket considering the time it saves. Not to mention the wear and tear on on my thumbs! Seems to be good quality and easy to use. Elmer is great, I hope they will carry a wider variety of tools in the future.
Perfect tool for measuring nut slot depth. Great price, and quick delivery. Previously I had just filed down to a feeler gauge held across the fret board. This tool is far more accurate and easier to use. I don't know how I got along without it. Build quality looks good, so I can't really imagine why someone would spend the money on one of these from "Those Other Guys", they want easily twice as much for virtually the same product. I have a new Les Paul project on the bench now, and it will be the first to benefit from the accuracy of the Digital Nut Slotting Gauge.
Not only did the product I had ordered arrive in excellent state, Elmer Guitar made sure that the product arrived at the corrected address. Service is much appreciated!!
These are very nicely manufactured, smooth and appear accurate to other gauges in my collection.
They have a good thin arch profile, which allows easy insertion on instruments with low action. That is a main reason I picked these up, as my other set it taller in the arch area.
One thing I would have liked with this set, is a keeper screw which would hold them all together. Not a deal breaker, but would have been nice.
Otherwise, really great gauges!
I've been needing a base for an older Craftsman rotary tool.
It's appears to be a clone of some Dremel tool, but I wasn't sure if the Craftsman would fit in a base made for "Dremel".
Glad to say it fits perfectly!
A really nicely manufactured attachment.
Good fit an finish, and a pretty good price too.
Will be used for various inlay and other delicate work.
