from 741 reviewsReceived my fret bender this week. Used it immediately and it worked great. Happy customer.
Does a neat job of routing, perfect for the one off builder.
I was very pleased with the quality and construction of the Rosette Circle Jig. It was heavier than I expected (which is good). I have both a Stew Mac Router base and a Veritas Plunge router base and the screw holes of the Soundhole jig lined up perfectly with both bases.
Great gauge at a good price. No issues with shipping. Great seller..
Did the job with zero issues or concerns. Didn't want to risk it by hand or pay the high mark up some of these other places have, and usually other stores only have the jig going into one tuner post holes. This going into both post holes made it even easier to get the job done. Glad I purchased it.
I'm very satisfied with the quality of the product. I'm currently using it with my drill press, and it works perfectly. It comes very well packaged, and the price/performance ratio is great. I highly recommend this brand and this product.
I'm very satisfied with this product. It's very easy to assemble, very high quality, and very durable and sturdy. I use it with a Stewmac fret template and I also use an ALS (Australian Luthier Supplies) brand saw, and they both fit and work perfectly. I mention this because I already had those tools and was skeptical that they wouldn't work together. I asked Helmer about them, and they responded that they would, which was true. I highly recommend this brand and this product.
I'm very impressed with the with the quality of this. Can't beat the price.
Great tool. Great value. It takes the place of using a notched straight edge and ruler. The gauge is easily used in adjusting the neck with the truss rod while the guitar is in a playing position.
Great tool. Great value. It takes the guess work out of setting the depths of each nut slot.
Easy to use for accurate and consistent results. Used a table clamp vice to hold bender. note: pre-cut frets get best results from feeding through the machine then flipping and feeding through again.
I love these templates; now have 25.5/25 and 24.675/24.750. In the "old times" I used a fret calculator, a millimeter ruler and a pencil to mark my cuts. This never resulted in the kind of precision work that I require. Templates, along with the miter box have changed all that. It was never guesswork but nor was it professional. Now I feel confident that I generate a "well-fretted" instrument for myself and my clients. If I could add a wishlist? It would be a 24" scale length template and that the the miter box had a built in scale to more precisely set cut depth. Otherwise...the miter box and templates are a GREAT addition to your luthier bag of tricks.
Just got my fret bender very happy with it
I had a set of stainless steel pre bent frets that would not work on my guitar neck #12s
So I ran them through the bender to straighten them it worked great
I put indicator which way is up and down on it
Great tool
Didn't really need these gauges, but glad I've purchased them.
Very nicely produced, and now that I have them, I'm sure they will be getting used regularly.
